You can book an Uber on an hourly basis, but it’s going to cost you $50

Normally when you book an Uber, the ride-hailing platform allows for a trip from one destination to the next. Now, Uber is rolling out a feature called “hourly booking” that lets you book a driver on an hourly basis. The feature costs $50 per hour, up to seven hours at a time.

This is a great addition because a lot of folks who use the service don’t own a car and when they have to run errands all over the place, chalking up fees for individual rides can get pretty pricey. This new addition to the platform changes all of that.

Here’s how the new booking feature works on Uber

Users book their trip like they normally would and enter their first destination. From there, an “hourly” option is displayed, thus giving you the ability to add multiple stops. The app will display all the different pricing

Google is finally doing something about annoying website notifications

Have you ever visited a website and were immediately assaulted by requests to enable push notifications? Some sites do it the right way, and then others take advantage of it by tricking visitors into enabling these sorts of notifications.

Well, Google is tired of the shit and will now crackdown on websites with abusive permission requests in an upcoming update to Google Chrome sometime later in July.

Now, this isn’t going to be applied to every website that asks users to enable notifications. They’re only doing this to the worst offenders. Sites that actively try to trick users into allowing notifications and sites that utilize push notifications to spread malware and phishing scams. The percentage of sites doing this is small, but they’re out there, and they have Google’s attention.

Going forward, when a user lands on a website that uses these shady practices, Google will display a warning letting

How Does Cloud Endpoint Security Works?

Listen to Audio

Although the larger companies would offer so much more if any cybercrime was to be aimed at them, this is unusually the case because as it states, they are large companies and businesses. This means they would have invested money, time and resources to make sure they are kept safe from these cybercrimes and cybercriminals.

This also, implies that if an attack was to be made now it will be aimed at the small and medium scale businesses. This is so, because they don’t have the resources and firewalls to withstand these cyber-attacks. Their security measures and procedures are weak and they are minimal and since that is the case, they will be more prone to these cyber-attacks than even the larger companies and businesses.

This research was further confirmed by the U.S. securities and the U.S. Exchange commission. Endpoint security software most especially the traditional ones

The TurboGrafx-16 Mini may be the best mini console yet

Did you know that Konami made its own game console back in the ’80s? As I posted pictures on social media with the TurboGrafx-16 Mini, it became obvious most didn’t.

If you happened to be around playing video games back then, you may remember some of  TurboGrafx-16’s games. I’d also forgive you if you didn’t. Konami isn’t necessarily a smart company.

I’ll cut to the chase here and tell you all, this goes toe-to-toe with the Sega Genesis Mini as the best mini console but just like the original’s launch, the TurboGrafx-16 Mini has its flaws.

What is the TurboGrafx-16?

Released back in the US in 1989, the TurboGrafx-16 was an actual marvel of a console, proving to be a much more robust and capable system than its current competitors. It was a rebranding of Konami’s PC Engine system from Japan, which is famous for
