GM’s Super Cruise is getting an upgrade with hands-free lane changes

General Motors has established itself as one of the major players in the push for automated driving systems in vehicles. The company’s Super Cruise technology is one of the best hands-free systems in vehicles today, and the system is getting a pretty significant upgrade.

An upgraded version of Super Cruise with towing support and automatic lane changes will be coming to seven new vehicles in 2022.

GM’s Super Cruise was initially launched in 2017 for the Cadillac CT6 sedan. Here’s what happens if you mail an AirTag to Tim Cook

Okay, so we know that AirTags are good at tracking anything you can attach to them, but does that tracking also work internationally? Would they still transmit? How long before they died? These are all important questions, and German YouTuber MegaLag decided to put them to the test.

Back in June, he bought a three-pack of AirTags and decided on his intended destinations. Now, he knew that sending them to any old random place wouldn’t do. It had to be places of note.

Right to repair is in the news in a big way these days, with governmental backing to finally enforce the existing laws around repairing tech. Most laptop makers would tell you that working on your own laptop will be a bad time, but not a new startup called Framework. They actively encourage it with their modular laptop that the user can change almost everything in.

Literally, everything. The battery, the display, the webcam, the enclosures, the hinges, the input cover, the touchpad, the keyboard, the fingerprint reader, the headphone jack… the list goes on and on.

Now, if anyone’s built their own PC and then looked inside a laptop, you know everything in there is put together in some arcane manner that really needs a long instruction manual to disassemble.

Not so on the Framework laptop. Every component that can be repaired or replaced has a QR code on it.
