I signed up for a trial to Paramount+ – the TV app is TERRIBLE

I subscribe to a lot of streaming services. Probably too many, if we’re honest. From staples like Netflix and Amazon Prime to Disney+ and HBO Max, they are basically all there. Each one has its own shows and features, but generally speaking, the user experience is similar.

That said, I recently signed up for a trial for the new Paramount+ streaming service, and let me tell you, it’s a mess in my experience. I’ve been using the Vizio app as well as the desktop version, and both have issues. That said, the app is far and away worse than the desktop version.

Let’s start with the most glaring issue – app crashes. Occasionally, the app just crashes and goes back to the main screen. For me, it seems to happen more when fast-forwarding and rewinding, but sometimes it just happens randomly. Also, episodes don’t always auto-play the next

The Schiit Modi and Magni DAC/AMP combo

The Good

The price is extremely attractive

Will drive almost any headphone you throw at it (don’t actually throw it, kthx)

Small footprint on your desk

The Bad

Headphone jack is a little close to the volume knob

Pyst cables can lift the Magni off the Modi 3 – aftermarket parts can help with this

‘On’ light on Modi 3+ is so bright you can see it from space (maybe)

About a year ago we reviewed the amusingly named Schiit Hel, a gaming-focused combo DAC/AMP with a microphone input. Well, we must have done some good Schiit, because our desk has been graced by even more Schiit, in the form of the Schiit Stack.

This entry-level audiophile stack consists of the Schiit Magni Heresy amp, and the Schiit Modi 3 DAC, each priced at $99, and the Schiit Pyst interconnects, which are $20 shortened RCA cables so

Razer’s insane RGB face mask concept is actually becoming a reality

A couple of months ago, we talked about the absolutely magnificent RGB facemask concept that Razer surprised us with at CES 2021. Well, it looks like that concept is becoming a reality.

Dubbed Project Hazel at CES 2021, the “world’s smartest mask” has a multitude of features that make it stand apart from your lame, non-RGB facemasks. In addition to confirming that you are, in fact, an absolute beast at Counter-Strike, this mask offers two rechargeable ventilators that double as voice amplifiers so you don’t sound muffled when you’re yelling at your teammates during your Saturday night LAN party.

The Razer mask has a transparent mouth so that people can read your lips. The RGB lighting from the ventilators will light up your mouth in the dark, so there’s never any real question about what you said about the enemy team’s moms. Project Hazel is a next-generation facemask loaded with

Apple could be releasing a more durable Apple Watch as early as this year

According to a new report from Bloomberg, the people at Apple are considering releasing a more rugged version of the Apple Watch. An individual, who chose to remain anonymous, said that the company could release the new version of the smartwatch as early as 2021 or 2022. This new edition would have the same functionalities as the typical Apple Watch, but with a much more durable, rubberized casing.

The Apple Watch is currently a popular choice for individuals as an exercise tracker. The watches have been constantly updated over the years, adding different kinds of activity tracking to meet users needs. However, their aluminum casings can be too fragile for some of the more extreme environments.

Though the Apple Watch does have water resistant capabilities up to 50 meters, there are some brands, like Garmin and G-Shock, that offer smartwatch capabilities with a more durable design. These brands
