Google Drive is a file sharing and storage service developed by Google. Google Drive helps you to collaborate, share, store, and edit files over different devices. Google Drive works with other services and it also works with other Google services and you can access the files anytime. Google Drive also provides free storage for the files.
However, despite being Google services there are many cases in which we face Google Drive issues and you may face the problem in using it. Check Google Drive’s Online Status
Google provides a webpage that will show you the status of different Google Services. If there is a problem in some Google service then it will show you about it. This service provided by Google is called Google Workspace Status Dashboard. If there is some problem with the Google services then you will see an error Service disruption or Service outage status. You have to wait until the status turns green.

Disable Your Antivirus And Firewall
Google services entirely rely on an internet connection to work. If you are getting messages like “You are offline error” then you have to check your internet connection. If you have an internet connection working correctly then it may be possible that your Antivirus and Firewall is blocking the internet connection.
You have to try to disable antivirus and firewall and then try to use Google services again. Make sure that you turn on the antivirus and firewall again.
Logout and Login to Google Drive
If you are accessing Google Drive on the browser and having problems in using it, then you have to logout from it and then restart the browser and then log back into it.
Also, if you are using Backup and Sync tools then you have to quit it and then try to restart it again.
How To Recover A File That Has Disappeared
If you have lost the files then you can try to recover them using the tips below:
- If you’re the only one with access to the file:
If you do not see your file then the first thing you should do is to look for the file in the Trash folder. Once you locate the files you can restore them in a single click.If you do not see the file in the trash folder then it may be possible that that file is renamed or moved to another location. However, Google has provided us with its great search feature that will help you to search for the file. You can search for the files using keywords, or date.
- If there are multiple people working on the file:
There is another scenario in which if the files were shared then it may be possible that another person deletes it. Once the files get deleted by another person then it will be deleted for another person also. However, in some cases, you can retrieve the deleted files like if the account is of the workplace or school then it can be retrieved by the administrator.

If the storage of Google drive gets filled then you may have to download some files and then delete it.
Also, you can remove unnecessary and old files that are not needed.

- Make sure that the printer driver is up to date. Google Drive is regularly updated and it may create some printing problems.

- You can try to download the file and then try to print it.
